Don't worry, Mr. Burns, I rounded up our less gifted employees and led them into the basement. ;)

I'll do with this as I did with IE7 and install it on NOT my main machine first. Hopefully it won't make me go "what a load of old...", as with IE7.

It's OK. I've been using the beta for so long, i hardly remember WMP 10 now.

IE7 however...

yeah nffc I share the same feeling... IE 7 is NOT coming on my system as long as I can help it. LONG LIVE FireFox 2.0 and Opera 9 :D

Yeah, it certainly doesn't look too bad. Just about to take the plunge. I can't deal with IE7. It's just the worst interface going.

IE7: I have it but i never use it. Only for sites when I'm testing the pages in another browser to see if they work :)

WMP 11 is great though, only problem is they seem to have got rid of the drop down for the music library so you have to use the Library tab and scroll down. Which, given the amount of music i have, is quite annoying.

MS's normal recommendation when you install a final product and have been using betas is that you uninstall the beta, then install the final product. It may be that they deliberately haven't put it on the server that the update check looks at for this reason.

You'll need to go to the site Paul linked to to download.

Re: WMP 11 released

Agh

I tried out the streaming function of WMP11, streaming a video to my XBox 360.

It worked well, the PC & 360 could see each other, & the video streamed perfectly.

But then afterwards WMP11 decided to corrupt its Library

And every time I run WMP11 again & try & rebuild the Library, it hangs
