Sending TV Output via RF Cable and using Remote Control Repeater

Two questions, as I have just signed up for Telewest Digital TV to be installed on 04-Nov.

1) Using the RF coaxial cable, can you send the output to multiple TV's (already have cable booster and cables run to TVs). You can already do this with SKY, but freeview boxes only send their output via the scart cable.

2) If the above is possible, what’s the best remote control repeater, so I can use the Telewest remote in another room. I have seen most don't work with Telewest boxes.

This applies to both standard boxes and TV Drive boxes

I'm having the same problem at the moment. Have purchased the Blue Delta system (www.bluedelta.co.uk) which should work with cable tv. Unfortunately because of the way the ir remote signals are sent, the remote control doesn't work. Have purchased a new remote on Blue Deltas advice only to find the remote I've purchased doesn't work with the stb I have! PLease help!!!

It looks like that the Digieye DG100DE will work with any cable box.

Has anyone got one working?
