Can I ask a quick question?
 

Currently have 10mb broadband elite package with Telewest and am interested in getting the basic tv package with them as well.
What I want to know is,I read somewhere on the website that you can't have the tv without getting a phone package.Is this true?
I'm perfectly happy with BT and don't want to have to change so are Telewest willing to offer the tv package without a phone line or is this compulsory?

Simple answer - yes you can have TV with no Phone ( or TV and broadband).

and you should see 2 for £20 - one of the options is BB and TV - so they cannot say this is not available.

Paying £35 just for the internet but I'd like them to give me some reduction for taking tv with them as well.
Call it an incentive for switching after being with Sky for the last 10 years.

2 for £20 is basic (Starter) TV and basic BB (2Mb) for the first year. Open to new customers and existing PHONE customers. You already have BB so I think you will have to haggle for them. Normal price is £23.49 via DD.

Rang CS and was told no way could I get the starter tv package unless I took out a phone line. The only way they will do without a phone line is to take out the Supreme package at £17.50/month.

Thinking of getting Talk Weekends (£11),Free TV and a Euro***. Not exactly reasonable in CS are they?A new customer that they don't know from Adam can get the earth for free but existing customers get charges and rules.:mad:

Can't get Starter TV without a phole, would be Solus Supreme TV. £17.50 a month is with a phone line, think it's £22.50 without a phone, but I can't be sure I work at the NSC not CC.
