South Manchester E-mail Problems
 

Hi,

I'm on the Baguley server in South Manchester and for about the last 4-5 days my e-mail has been downloading very slowly.

I use Zone Alarm, Spampal and have the AVG E-mail Scanner and these have worked fine until now.

I know there is some planned upgrading work taking place this week but as far as I'm aware it doesn't mention e-mail being affected.

Is anyone else affected or could it be I have some problem with either Zone Alarm, Spampal or AVG?

I just checked my ntl email and its downloading OK, but I don't normally use it so I can't comment on the last 5 days.

As long as you haven't changed any setting in the programs you mention I can't see that being the problem.

My cable connection in general has been slow the last few days but is fine this morning so maybe it was a problem in this area which is now fixed.
