Yes I woke up to it this morning :) Quite impressed from what I've seen but as you say - content is king and we need some more!

I know it's different but don't Telewest customers on the top tier entertainment packages get TV series' included? Like the 99p episodes of say Lost. That's the impression I got off the TW website. If this is the case, hope it's extended to NTL top tier customers too.

Kind of.

Lost isn't actually included -- that's separate, at a rather pricy 99p an episode. But there is lots of content (old BBC and ITV series and the like) under what's called Teleport TV. This is free for people on the top TV package, or an extra £5pm for people on other packages.

NTL have much of the same content, but the pricing structure is different: rather than putting it all in a subscription catagory, they give you a couple of free episodes and then charge individually (or occasionally in two or three) for the rest.

So basically, if you're on the top tier Telewest's model is better, but if you're on another tier NTL's is better, assuming you don't buy more than £5 worth of content a month.

I have said for a long time that I can see NTL adopting Telewest's subscription model before too long. At that point (possibly around the same time as the launch of the PVR?) I would expect all "On Demand" content to be branded as Teleport.
