How long

last week ( 7 days ago) I ordered b/b for my home PC over the net.

I have a confirmation number & a message that some one will be in touch with in 48 hrs So far nothing. How long do I wait? or is there a number I should call to ask what is happening? I have phone/tv with NTL .
