Movie Maker AVI to DVD !
Hi all
Basically pulling my hair out here..............I 've got a 15 minute avi which is of a climb up Ben Nevis lastb week and I said to the people involved I would burn the avi to DVD so they can all show it to their families. So I have the avi file and I am a bit confused as to the best way to get it on a DVD. Is there any good freeware to do it or do I quickly need to buy some additional software which I can not afford !!!!:dozey: :dozey: :dozey: Any help gratefully recieved Thanks Mike |
Re: Movie Maker AVI to DVD !
What software are you using to burn to DVD?

Re: Movie Maker AVI to DVD !
if you have an 'oem' installation of Nero 5.5, I don't think it will do what you want - AFAIK you need at least a version 6.0 for it to work, although I'll be glad to be wrong, on that :)

Re: Movie Maker AVI to DVD !
OK, Movie Maker is a freebie with XP, it creates a "movie" file but does not burn to DVD. Presumably the Nero 5.5 came with your DVD writer.
I have a similar setup, but am not familiar with the VOB question. Give me a minute... Edit: I have Nero Express 6 (OEM). It looks like the experts are here, sorry I couldn't help... |
Re: Movie Maker AVI to DVD !
you need to reencode it using nero vision or similar
