Platforms
Seen a number of references to 'Bromley' or 'Langley' platforms. What does this mean exactly, what is the difference, how do I find which one I'm on (or are there more) and does it matter anyway?
Anyone got any answers? |
Re: Platforms
Bromley refers to those areas once served by Cable & Wireless and Langley refers to those areas that were always served by NTL...
Alternatively, I've always found the platforms available here rather chic... |

Enter your post code here to find out who you are with. http://www.dslzoneuk.net/ntl_region.php

and to say that 'original NTL' also included other franchises like Diamond Cable. So, having failed to fully integrate langley & bromley, the plan is, obviously, to integrate telewest & virgin, as well, to solve all the problems :p: :D |

Re: Platforms
Funny that they all end in -ley, I thought. K,B or L, as we say internally.
Oddly enough, having been essentially set up by the same people, K and B are far more similar than B and L, which explains why the assimilation of ntl/C&W was so hard. I'd anticipate things being a bit easier with bringing K on board. |
