2 for £20

We have been ntl customers for almost 3years now, and currently pay £17.99 for Broadband internet. In the week we got an advert pamphlet (with our bill) saying if we add ntl Digital TV we'd only pay £20 for both TV and phone. This sounds very good as it's only £2 more.

I'd like to know, what TV package will this include (i'm aware it won't include any premium channels), as i would like to check on the Ntl site what channels are included.

Anyone know which TV package is included with 2 for £20? I don't have much time to decide, as i have to take the deal by Friday.

Another question: On this page i see mention of ntl:home Digital & ntl:home analogue. Is analogue still running (in Cambridge especially)? I was under the impression all cable TV now-a-days was digital.

Sorry i'm still a newbie to cable TV.

If you are in an area where they can offer digital, you will get digital. AFAIK, NTL are no longer supplying new analogue connections.

Oh ok. So all new Digital TV connections will be digital, otherwise they would offer TV as the are no longer connecting people to analogue? Is my understanding correct?

Yes, i've previously checked and i can get all ntl services from my postcode.

Thanks so much for your help guys. Like i said i'm new to the who cable TV thing. i only have cable broadband, so the mention of digital cable tv, analogue cable tv, CR3, Langley, Bromley etc. are all very confusing to me at the mo. I'm mainly trying to understand things now as chances are very likely we'd join the masses in getting cable tv from ntl:telewest

there is a value pack where you can get digital select pack and 2mb BB for £20, the offer isnt available for analogue customers though so if your area isnt digital enabled you cant get the offer

Ring Ntl and talk to them about it. The new packages are two for £20, Three for £30 and four (including Virgin mobile) for£40

I believe the TV package is the Select package though :)

No its just £20. Seperatly select pack is £5.50 /month and 1Mb broadband is £17.99, total £23.49.. so the 2 for £20 package saves you £3.49 a month. I guess your on family pack or base pack?

Thats a joke I pay £16 for just the phone and TV analogue and then another 17.99 for BB.
a well its a case of getting sky didigtal for down stairs on the main TV set and getting the Ntl price down.
