Access menus without remote

I have pace box Dl4001N and no remote - I want to access the setup menus - is there a way of doing this without the remote?

Any help appreciated

:welcome: to Cableforum..

AFAIK, there is no way to access the menus without a remote..

Do you want to access the Engineer's menu, or the standard user-setup one (where you can set Display screen type etc)? If you want to access the Engineer's menu, bear in mind that if you get a setting wrong, you *can* render your connection useless. If you call an engineer out, and they suspect you have done this, you will be charged for the call out.

Did you simply lose the remote, or was it damaged in some way?

NTL may be able to send you a new remote (but they may charge you for it).

Just call ntl faults and tell them your remote has gone missing or if it has broken they will then send you a new remote (i got mine the next day) then simply return the broken one in the postage paid envelope provided. Or another option is to just request a new remote, and a charge of £15.00 inc vat will be applied to your account.
I got a new Langley remote with the newer keypad layout and tv functions control :) very pleased and didn't cost me a penny
