When I took up with ntl broadband via their cable modem. I was provided with a website page address ie: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/[my email address]

I would now like to make use of this facility. Having tried inserting the address into IE. I just get the invalid response.

Any help asto how I get started will be appreciated.

I have asked ntl for assistance but they expect me to phone them on a prem/rate line. Just haven't got time for this.

I find using IE you can uplaod this way

ftp://username:password@upload.ntlworld.com/

or use an FTP client with those details.

You'll just get errors until you upload at least an index.htm page.
