EPG poor since VOD software update
Last Sunday we had the VOD software update (not enabled yet). Since then the EPG has been playing up. When you press guide and then All Channels, the first page has "Searching" for all the channel. After about 20 seconds the info appears. When you go to the next page and then back to the first page it then says "No information available"
Also if you don't select All Channels but instead select, say, Entertainment, it just changes to a new channel and the guide goes away. Now I realise that the EPG has never been much good, but I though the VOD update also gave an improvement. It seems to have gotr worse. Is it possible I've got a corrupt update. I've tried rebooting but that doesn't help. Is there another way of force a reload of the software. Or...are these problems normal for the new update? Thanks |

The page up thing is a known error in that software version.
But I've not seen the problem with selecting Entertainment. Would you happen to have a Pace 4010 box? (I suspect the box is picking up infrared interference, which causes a key-bounce effect on the 4010). It's very unlikely that you've got a corrupt update. |
