Mobile phone and landline question
 

Ok i make a phone call from my mobile and it rings a BT number obviously if i ring one

At what point does the mobile call enter the BT network and how and where?

That would depend on whose network your mobile was on, but in very general terms - the call would go to a central point where the mobile operator had links into a BT exchange.
