What is a connection loss?

Quite often when I try to view web pages it takes age to fetch them The bar at the bottom slow goes to 35% then stops. I have to click on refresh and most of the time this will cause the pages to load.

Is this what is meant by a connection loss?

It can happen with any web site as it did with first accessing this web site. In down loading the first page it stop at about 35% for 1/2 a sec.

You could try specifying a proxy to see if that helps.
Also make sure you check for viruses or spyware too to make sure nothing is bugging your connection.

Do you find some other sites also load slow (not with the pause, but taking a while loading the page content)?
