Help!!! No NTLHELLWORLD @ home

Hi GUys,

OK whats the problem, I cannot access this site from my home computer. It just times out. I am accessing it now from work, so hopefully one of you nice guys can help me. Am i being blocked by NTL from accessing this site, or is it a setting somewhere on my computer. I can by the way access all other sites i try. So please help. Please remember any replies posted after worktime i will not be able to see till Monday.

I would start by clearing all your internet cache and cookies.

Try using a different proxy as i have exactly the same problem but using a different proxy solves the problem

As silly as it sounds are you making sure you are typing nthellworld.co.uk and NOT ntlhellworld.co.uk? can you access the site via cableforum.co.uk?

I've got a problem from my home computer as well.

Changing the Proxy worked for me.

Actually this thread reminds me. Is there a way to report these problems (other than go through the hell of India tech support?)

Yep ;) .... pm me with the proxies that aren't working properly, with the addresses that aren't working through them.

i have this same problem, I have to use a proxy otherwise I cannot access the site from home, must be something to do with Glasgow then.

Whatever the default renf proxy for cableforum is - it is screwed, and has been for a while.

Okies, yes I have the correct addy, i have it bookmarked as well. Also have the same problem trying to access the cableforum direct at h**p://www.cableforum.co.uk/ !!!

Well presumably it needs affected people in Glasgow to report it. I don't know if we can do this via any of our contacts, I will have to ask.

Woo Hooo done it guys, I used a proxy and it is working though it does seem there is a prob with this in glasgow... If so who do i report it to???
