I read about this technology a while ago. Weren't they originally planning to manufacture an LCD that shows true depth?

Now that would be a concept worth getting excited over,

This is just a gimic imagine having to sit with headphones on.

Presumably, you'd need 2 STBs as well...

Still, I think the idea is quite cool

Sorry I was replying to danielf, Zephs post wasn't there when I started to reply..... Should have used 'quote' I guess.

I meant 2 Sky+ boxes as apposed to two NTL boxes....

I don't like leaving Sky out when Digi boxes are talked of.... It being my choice of service.

spose you could watch analogue and digital at the saem time that would solve the 2 tuner problem, they would have to create stereo blue tooth adapters for headphones ,then its workable

I think that would be the way to go, remotes would have to be paired with the tuner, so you'd a different remote for different areas of the lounge.

Two STBs or Sky boxes wouldn't even work, as the remote would affect both boxes.

With the way things are set up right now (in the UK), you'd need to separate systems, e.g. Sky and cable (or freeview) to solve the problem with remote controls :spin:

i wonder what it looks like if you sit in the middle, is it a hideous mix of both?

Looks brilliant though.
