NTL email account without NTL Broadband
Stupid question ....
My work has just installed an ADSL line and a 4 port hub in my house and I tempted to connect my home PC up to it and then I won't need my NTL broadband saving me some money. The question is ... If I cancel my NTL Broadband but still have telephone and TV with NTL, can I keep my email account - or if the network goes then so does the email account... I guess email account will go when NTL broadband cancels. Cheers! |
Re: NTL email account without NTL Broadband
I switched from dialup to broadband back in the days when they couldn't merge your dialup email addresses into your new account. The old dialup account remained open, but dormant, and years later I have ditched NTL broadband but I still have the dialup email addresses. Don't know about my broadband ones as I never used them! The one thing I do know is that I can no longer add or remove email addresses from my old dialup account because you have to connect to ntlworld.com via an NTL connection to access those pages. So it is of limited use to you even if it turns out you still have them.

Re: NTL email account without NTL Broadband
I think it will go.
I cant see NTL giving you free email. Unless you have a dialup account on a payg. Then you could still have webmail access.. |

Re: NTL email account without NTL Broadband
You can sign up for a pay as you go account here:
https://autoreg.autoregister.net/ but note that you can only do so if you have an ntl phone number to enter :) If you do not dial for a set period (120days iirc) then the account may be suspended however... |
