Italy - e-mails bounced
For the last couple of months I have been having problems receiving e-mails from my daughter in Italy who uses virgilio.it.
The "bounced" e-mails come back from postmaster@virgilio.it with the following message: "- These recipients of your message have been processed by the mail server: xxxxxxxx@ntlworld.com; Failed; 4.4.7 (delivery time expired)" Is this a problem with NTL or is it happening somewhere else on the network? Repeated calls to NTL have so far not resolved the problem. Any help/advice would be welcome |
Re: Italy - e-mails bounced
have you tried another mail service like hotmail?
to see if these are blocked.. Or maybe a friend who has ntl? |
Re: Italy - e-mails bounced
Thanks.
Her e-mails get through to my Pipex account (on the same computer) and to my work address. However, I would like to be able to close my Pipex account once this problem is sorted. Chris |
Re: Italy - e-mails bounced
Probably a stoopid suggestion.....she is sending them to the right address isn't she?
