ntl retentions number

Could someone please give the retentions number for ntl? They've cocked up again. After telling me that they would give me 2mb BB for £17 per month, they have charged me £24.99! Grrrrrr. When are they going to get their house in order?

You just need to speak to the Billing Dept.

Dial 150 from your ntl phone, or ring 0800 052 2000.

I would guess the OP threatened to leave, & 'someone' told him they would only charge him £17.99 for his 2Mb BB.

I would guess that the old CS-BSâ ¾Ãƒâ€šÃ‚¢ has occured, & there's no record of that offer being made.

Can any one tell me why 150 is dead from my phone and has been for a while?

because I told them that a rival operator (Supanet) were offering BB 2mb for that price, so they let me have it too. But they forgot to tell the billings department so they've charged me the full £24.99. However I spoke to someone today ( and I've got his name and extension) who said that they woud adjust it and give me a month free. So. hopefully, that will be the case.

The old short codes (150, 1503, 151, etc.) are being withdrawn. 0800 052 2000 is the same number for everybody!

Interesting are NTL planning on informing customers since I certianly wasnt made aware. Also what is the reasoning for this 150 is quite common amongst providers as a easy form of access.

The bills have only had the 0800 number for a number of months now. In my experience the numbers you can call for providers varies a bit.

Still I would have prefered if they had kept 150 to have some parity with BT's customer service number.

Not exactly the same package as Supanet give you a lower bandwidth allowance but you see what I mean. Good work getting the cost reduction though.
