printer problem
 
Hi, I have an Epsom R300 and when printing photo's they are very dark, does anyone have any ideas how I can lighten them ?

Are they dark before you print them or just after?

What paper are you using, if your using paper thats not a quality ink jet paper you might be getting colour bleed.

To alter the contrast, brightness etc of your printout, go to Advanced in the printer properties when you go to print a document/photo out. You can also do this in a simplified manner using the lcd on the printer, but the driver gives you a lot more control. You may need to update to the latest driver version from the epson website, it has a few improvements. The advanced properties look like this:
