Ran out of wired ports on my WGR614 router

I was wondering if I could add a switch to it, but I thought you needed uplink ports or something.

Has anyone got any ideas?

Most switches that you can buy will have one port that can reverse into an uplink, rather than standard port. Alternative to an uplink port is a crossover cable I beleive.

I have a crossover cable, so I take it I can just hook it up with that?

Any decent switches you know of?

I'm placing an order at scan so it they do any good ones, that'd be great

I thought about this one

Yep should do the trick.

Whenever I've used a switch, I've always been slightly confused with the uplink port switch setting. And I've got a few of these in my office. I just experiment, the connection either will or will not work depending on the setting. If it dont work, I know I got it wrong and just reverse it.
