System flattened....but....
 

Well I finally resolved my problems with my PC with a complete reload of Windows. So far, so good. Looks like I've zapped the spyware, eliminated the keylogger and got rid of all that nasty AOL junk... Hooray!!!

One minor problem. I'd like a nice icon pakage so I downloaded the free trial of Object Desktop Icon Packager. But when I go to the Wincustomize site to pick an icon package, I cant open any of the pages. I get.....

"There was an error logging the Error to the Database" on every page

Fluent gibberish!!! Can anyone think of a way around this? I've tried rebooting and allowing all cookies but no joy. I'm running Microsoft antispyware and a Bullguard firewalll and AV but I dont see how that would prevent me.

Apart from that, things are looking up!

If you're getting a database error then the problem is at their end, the only alternative you have is to look elsewhere, normally deviantart has loads of icons if you can find them.

Have same problem with mine. It really doesn't like Icon Packager (and they have yet to tell me why) the rest of Object Descktop sits in the program file quite happily and I use Windows Blinds OK. Uninstall via controll panel.

There are loads of other icons out there but it's such a pain to change all but the obvious ones.
