i have an orange spv m1000. yes, it's stretching the definitions of mobile phone, but hey it has a mahoosive screen, and full version of internet explorer. you can even download flash for pocketPC too... :)

if you want a more phone-size device though, look towards the orange spv C500/C550. i had a C500 too, that runs windows mobile for smartphones, and has itnernet explorer too, and a large ish screen :)

Whatever phone you get, make sure it's not on 3 - you can't browse the full web with any of their phones *yet*.

I've got an MDA Compact on T-Mobile and its fantastic.

You can use it for full on web surfing and it fits nicely into your pocket as well. Highly recommended.

the SPV Ms/O2 XDAs (same phone) are amazing, but very brickular...

www.onestopphoneshop.co.uk is worth a try, and of course orange and o2 websites. you can even load tomtom navigator 5 onto them and use them for satnav (as i do), and a whole host of other features... woowoo :)

oh, and the MDA compact (as mentioned above) is also availble as orange SPV M550 i believe.... its a base HTC model which is then rebranded to suit whichever network... except each network has it's own name for them

if you want full browsing though, you need a phone running windows smartphone, or windows mobile :)

One thing about the XDA and Orange SPV is they are very very slow when browsing the net.

If you want something mobile to check ebay every once in a while etc then I highly recommend the Samsung D500 or the Samsung E720.

I have the D500 and my other half has the E720, both display full HTML webpages.

Good choice :tu:

I've got the slightly older version, the P900 (without the mini keyboard on the reverse of the flip).
