Problems in M20 area, please help, about to move to SKY
I have BB and TV through an STB and SACM.
Every night I come home from work and there is no activity. Nothing works. About 9pm, everything kicks back in which is how I'm writing this. An engineer came out on Saturday but t was working when he did. He "remade" every connection and said I should be fine. No chance. Later on it's off again. When it happens, the STB goes to either 0 or no chanel with only the top light on. The SACM just relentlessly flashes the DS light. Sorry, didn't know where to put this. It's not a TV or internet problem, it affects both. Every night the girlfriend rings me and tells me she wants us to cancel. Every night it flicks back on at 9ish and I'm spared a night of sulking. Please help!!! Thanks very much. |

Have you been back on to ntl to tell tham what they did has not cured the problem(s)?

No guesses on what's wrong here, you have a downstream issue. In fact it's almost certainly between you and your street cabinet.
Re-report the issue to ntl informing them that you are losing all services on a regular basis. Might need to have a new cable pulled between you and the street cabinet. |
