Washed phone.
Is it possible to rescue a sim card from a mobile phone that has gone through a washing machine. The phone is screwed but IF I could save the sim and the account?
Oh BTW it wasn't my phone it was my son's.I never leave anything in my dirty washing. Trouble is because I don't, I forget others may not remember to. |

Re: Washed phone.
I've accidentally washed a SIM in the past and it ended up working fine - yours should be fine.

Re: Washed phone.
If you get another mobile it will need to be able to work with the sim so you will either need a new mobile that is on the same network or a mobile that is unlocked.
My old mobile went for a swim in our outdoor pond in Peterborough, 24 hours on a warm (not hot) radiator opened up with it's battery out and it was fine for about 6 months until I upgraded it. |
