Hi

:welcome: to Cable Forum

- have you tried a ping without the router connected?

:)

Re: Router

If you're in Israel like you say you are a 114ms ping is pretty good for a server hosted in California.

Re: Router

What firmware is the router?
The BR6104K has an update available, 3.15, though the history of the router in PPOE mode is rather chequered.

There may also be several ways to configure a router and a modem - either the modem manages everything (and if the modem also supports NAT routing itself, then a hub would be better than a router), or the router controls the modem by PPOE - It depends if the modem is smart enough for the former, or if it would require a PPOE setup on the PC, then the latter case (router handles it) is the way it must be.
