Mr Best was also held on that date over an allegation he assaulted a woman.

I don't know how much of it will end up being true but some of todays football ' stars ' think they're above the law, are God's gift, and think they can get away with it. About time they were brought down a peg or 2 IMO

Trouble is by the time the truth comes out careers are ruined and sometimes the truth never comes out at all.
