Cheaper International Calls
ntl and telewest charge a lot to make international calls.
With ntl international calls costs from 10p to 70p per minute, and only three countries are 10p/min (Canada, Ireland, USA)! Calls to international mobiles are even worse, with prices ranging from 40p to 95p. You can see what ntl charge to call each country at the ntl tariff guide: http://www.ntl.com/home/telephone/pd...pdf?1118404695 With telewest it costs from 16.5p to 99p per minute, again three countries are at the lower rate! Calls to mobiles range from 16.5p to a whopping 119p/min! :Yikes: You can see what telewest charge to call each country at the telewest tariff guide: http://www.telewest.co.uk/pdfs/11038_TW_Tariff_Res.pdf However, it's easy to call both landlines and mobiles in many countries for the cost of a UK national call. That's only 3p/min daytime and 2p/min evening! :Sun: To do this: 1. Dial the access number 0870 794 6910 (at weekends dial 0844 570 6910 instead - 5p/min all weekend) 2. Dial your international number in full (including 00 and the country code) You are only charged for the cost of calling the access number, there is no other charge. :) If you would like more information, visit this site: http://justdial.atspace.com/ Dave :wavey: |

What do you mean by that kronas? I am providing information that saves people money. It has saved myself and many people I know a great deal. What is wrong with telling others?

Re: Cheaper International Calls
Hi Davie,
:welcome: to CF. The Team here don't like people posting links/retorics like the one that you have posted without first consulting them. Your post looks very much like an advertisement for the product/company, couple that with the fact that you have posted it in a couple of different areas of the forums and it is likely to be treated as spam. I would suggest that if you want to advocate the use of this company you discuss the matter with the Team first, that way they will know that you aren't just spamming the boards. |
Re: Cheaper International Calls
Well as you can see I'm a new member and so I'm not a little unsure on the protocol. I posted it in two places (ntl and telewest forums) as there doesn't seem to be one forum that services both.
Thanks for your welcome, Davie |

Would suggest that a quick Personal Message to Chris T or Paul M might be in order, just to explain that you weren't intending to spam. You can access the PM system for either person by clicking on "Quick Links" > "Private Messages" and then (on the left of the screen) "Send New Message". You will need to put the name of either (or both seperated by a ; ) of them into the to box. Good luck, sorry if we jumped down your throat a bit - we get a fair bit of unwanted spam. |
Re: Cheaper International Calls
Okay cheers, I understand. I'll try and get a message to them.

Re: Cheaper International Calls
It sure reads like an advert to me, but I suppose it could be useful. I have cut it down alot and removed the direct hyperlinks. I have also moved it the the correct forum (other telco) as it's not about tw or ntl.
