Kerrang Radio volume on NTL Cable

Is the volume on Kerrang radio extremely loud for all other NTL customers? I have just fitted a new SCART lead with audio outputs on my new Samsung and nearly blew my HIFI speakers flicking through the radio channels. This station was completely distorted and unlistenable on my PACE box. Is there any reason the volume is set so high on just this channel and can it be fixed?

Think volume is often controlled and set by the broadcaster not NTL or Sky etc. Right nuisance at times when all of a sudden you get deafened by an annoying advert :(
