Programme guide and the red button

I have a PACE STB about every couple of days it seems to lose the programme guide and red button facilities and basically nothing can be done with it apart from switch channels and watch TV, i can fix the problem by unplugging and plugging in again, but is ntl aware of these problems and when are they going to be fixed?

or am i going totally off track and is my own STB just packing up?

Think its common problem with EPG................I do have same problem...........worse than you, when I power on again it doesn't even boot anymore.............just displays PACE in the box................

Does Samsung STB loose EPG as well?

It does occasionally but not half as often as my pace used to.

Everytime I try to look I get the phrase "searching for programme" and the listings are ofetn wrong anyway.

Providing an EPG is something Sky and Freeview seems to amnage so why can't ntl? O I forgot, it's ntl and everything is inferior to Sky and Freeview.

OK/LEFT/TV on the box - saves reaching for the plug.

The handling of anything interactive by the Pace box is a complete joke - the red crash button!

I'm sure there must be a COLOSSAL memory leak in the software as it generally gets slower and slower as well.
