Hi allââ‚ ¬Ãƒâ€šÃ‚¦ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢ ¢â‚¬Å¡Ã‚Â¬Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â¦ÃƒÆ Ã‚Â¢ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ã‚Â¬Ãƒâ šÃ‚Â¦.we cannot get films †œon demandÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šà ¬Ã‚Â to work at the moment and keep getting error M044 coming upâ₠¬Ãƒâ€šÃ‚¦.any ideaââ‚ ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s

What you need to do is:
1: Reboot STB. Once rebooted do this to see if you have the connection status of "5 Connected" use your remote control for STB and in following order press page UP and then Page Down, then press the blue button, use the more option until you see Network information 3. You should see connection status of 5. Before you do this make sure you leave the STB for a couple of minutes after rebooting as the STB will need to get the TFTP, then carry out as mentioned. Also check the 3 LED's next to the channel number the middle on should be solid if not you could have return path problem or the STB can't connect due to faulty STB. Then try doing what initially caused the error to be displayed, to see if it happens again. |

Well bit the bullet and phoned CS this morningââ‚à ‚¬Ã‚¦Ã¢Ã ¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ã‚¬Ã‚Â¦à ƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬à ‚Â¦ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â⠬šÂ¬Ã‚¦..got automated message saying they would ring me back to save me hanging onâ₠¬Ãƒâ€šÃ‚¦ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢à ¢â‚¬Å¡Ã‚Â¬Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â¦ÃƒÆ Ã‚Â¢ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ã‚Â¬Ãƒâ šÃ‚Â¦ÃƒÆ’Ã‚Â¢ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â‚¬ ¡Ã‚¬Ã‚¦.I thought what the hell and gave it a goâ₠¬Ãƒâ€šÃ‚¦ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢à ¢â‚¬Å¡Ã‚Â¬Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â¦ÃƒÆ Ã‚Â¢ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ã‚Â¬Ãƒâ šÃ‚Â¦ÃƒÆ’Ã‚Â¢ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â‚¬ ¡Ã‚¬Ã‚¦Ã¢ € ¦SHOCKââ‚à ‚¬Ã‚¦Ã¢Ã ¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ã‚¬Ã‚Â¦à ƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬à ‚Â¦ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â⠬šÂ¬Ã‚¦they rang me back within 15 minutes and Malcolm could not have been more helpfulââ‚à ‚¬Ã‚¦Ã¢Ã ¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ã‚¬Ã‚Â¦à ƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬à ‚Â¦ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â⠬šÂ¬Ã‚¦..turns out my connection status of "3 Connected" is the problem and an engineer is coming out MondayÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šà ¬Ã‚Â¦yes bank holidayââ‚à ‚¬Ã‚¦Ã¢Ã ¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ã‚¬Ã‚Â¦à ƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬à ‚Â¦morning

Hrm missed all that.
Fault was that there was no return path for the set top to talk back to ntl, hence no/stuttery interactive. Eng should be able to sort it. |
