Software update in Belfast

According to posts on the Digitalspy forums, the new L3.2 software is being rolled out to subs in Belfast (and, presumably, elsewhere in Northern Ireland where NTL have cables).

If the rollouts in Glasgow, South Wales and Nottingham are anything to go by, this means that full video-on-demand should be enabled in the next few weeks. This means that the whole of the Celtic Business Unit will support VOD.

Coming quickly off the back of the Nottingham launch, it could also be a sign that NTL are increasing the pace of the rollouts, which is obviously a good thing for everybody who's still waiting.

Has anyone in Leicester received the VOB update yet?

I have checked and I can still only receive Movies, Sports and Adult on demand

Sorry, but I'm tech in Belfast & it's news to me!We would get briefed on something like that & get a e-mail,which we hav'nt as yet.I've just checked on the work intranet & my old e-mails & it's been sucsessfully launched in Glasgow, but as yet,not over here.

not that i doubt u but i've just rebooted the set top box and there#'s definately been some kind of software update... can the digibox be flashed as this term actually came up as i watched it. There's nothing noticeable in the menus to i assume like the digital spy posts thats its a pre rollout thing but i am noticing the lag in navigating the menus.

VOD hasn't launched yet, but the software for it started rolling out last night.

Yeh My Box was running **** slow this morning. So I rebooted and got the Update Screen. The Only Change I have noticed is that the menus load much faster. So Lets hope for VOD in the Next 2 Weeks :)
