Sync light flashing

I have had problems today MIRC, ICQ, Yahoo MSN signed out and cannot sign in and some webpages coming up as no data but loading when you retry then I noticed my sync light is flashing as fast as the up and down lights. This is normally steady like the RDY light. Is there known problems on the network?

No time to call in this morning I was only checking emails before work.

I've been having the same problems also. I didn't have time to check my modem before I left for college this morning though.
