Paragraph Hell
 

HI
I have pressed something on Outlook that means that i have paragraph markers all over my Signature when i write a new mail or reply to one.
I cannot delete them manually either.
Anyone know what it is i'vew done? Still works ok, but really annoying

Otherwise, you could click the button on the toolbar that looks kinda like a P the wrong way round. Otherwise ask Clippy about paragraph marks - im sure he, in his infinite wisdom, will point you in the right direction;)

Would it be a setting in word, perhaps word is doing the same..

bdav is correct - you've managed to turn on the option to show paragraph marks, that's all.

Free if you accept the (rather unobtrusive) adverts. I paid to get junk filtering, which works pretty well.

Which reminds me, I thought NTL were filtering this cr@p now - can't say I've noticed much of a reduction in the blatant spam, never mind anything else.

On the whole, however, wouldn't touch Outlook (any version) with <any length> bargepole, considering how lame it is, and how it's wide open to every virus/backdoor/adware/hack going.

i'm a new convert, as of today... still not as good as groupwise imo, but then that relies on you having novell servers...

Anyways, suggesting a different mail client all together really doesnt help, some people including myself like Outlook :Yikes:

wassup with it? i installed tb and gw today, gw is much faster than using IMAP through tb, and it has all the same features...

Thanks you guys, all sorted now. Dont know why i couldnt do it myself...
Dont understand this whole email client thing.
Outlook works perfectly well and my PC is strong enough to handle it and other things running simultaneously....
Is it just a MSoft thing?
