Another laptop thread

Sorry 'bout this all but my associate is desperate to buy a laptop......right now.
She wants to spend round the £500 mark and that should include a printer as well :disturbd:
Nothing too high tech, mainly to be used for word processing.............any ideas? Off the top of your heads like.......... :D

Thanks m8, do you know that's a good deal or did you just have a quick scout around?

Got one for my son and it's very good!

I purchased it from Misco (no longer in stock) and it was a few pounds cheaper so you may find a better price if you look around......

You might want to have a look at:

www.sterlingxs.co.uk

Never used them myself but were today recommended to me by a colleague. Been looking for a second hand laptop for my sister to use for Uni and some of the IBM and Compaq Pentium 3 systems seem to be good value.

For cost total in cheapness this you cannot go wrong for, I know someone who bought this for there son to mess with as his first laptop.

Very good ( for its price and would do word processing all day long )
