Hotmail problem
 

Are any of you ntl broadband people having trouble getting to Hotmail?

Think there have been sporadic access problems again today, have seen complaints on another forum where there are problems accessing from a number of countrires.

just seen this on Neowin, quite a few people having problems today, this person was in Oxford and they found the info on their ISP site.

Is it posted in your thread too? I'm sure that Escapee would have done a search :angel: Would have dug your thread up too but I had Neowin running in another tab and it was on the front page. I'm lazy that way lol

And it's still not fixed, it's a bit annoying, the ONLY microsoft related page I can get up is the MSN error page (http://sea.search.msn.co.uk/dnserror...=DNSAS&q=xxxxx) and that's very intermittantly.

I apologise for that, I did do a quick search throug thread titles. I wasn't sure where to put the question as I'm not an ntl BB customer, so thats why I asked if ntl customers were getting problems.

I did have a google around and look at some other sites, but came up with nothing about it.

I have had hotmail problems for weeks, the only way I can reliably use it is using my own proxy server.

im also having a problem with hotmail and im on ntl, what happens is i tried changing my password which it let me do, then ti asked me to choose a secret question and answer, so i did, then i clicked ok, and it brought up this screen[img]error.jpg[/img] (see attachment if that didnt work) and now when i try logging into my account it brings that screen up each time

naturally ive contacted msn customer support but they dont seem to care as ive not heard anything in 5 days

it let me semi access the account with outlook and it seems it will let me copy the data from it to a hotmail.co.uk account if i want but unfortunately i cant opena new hotmail account because it jsut brings me back to the choose a secret question screen

has anyone else had this problem and how did they get round it because i cant afford to lose this account

Ive gone back to using Hotmail as Windows Live Mail was too slow for me and im having a problem.
