A 3 meg connection?..but you arent getting 3 megs are you?...169 thats only half of 3 megs isnt it?Or are they combined to give you the connection?

err no thats 169 as in 3 times faster than dial up.
infact i plugged my 52 k modem in and pages actually load faster than through my bb modem.
ntl tec say the connection is fine, i beg to differ

Odd that.....

That site tells me that I have a 1Mb connection when in fact I have a 2Mb connection. All other sites report the speed correctly.

I wonder if this is an issue with that particular site?

You may not have your active x controls or java enabled...that may be why salem.

no its not that, ive used this test before without problems, i think my connection is so slow that it cant provide a result, i left it running for 20 mins, it will work ok during the day before say 4 pm, but after!!!
tec support recon its my fault for having to many ports open (pmsl)
