Brothers in Arms ... Beware!

Hello all,
Got a copy of Ubisoft's Brothers in Arms... It looks really good... It would be brill if it didn't keep crashing with GPF errors.
Apparently the engine is the same as Unreal and GPF's are really common. I've got the hardware but the game keeps crashing :(

Here's my error:

Build: (null)

OS: Windows XP 5.1 (Build: 2600)
CPU: AuthenticAMD PentiumPro-class processor @ 1609 MHz [929301331968.000000 0] with 511MB RAM
Video: RADEON 9600 SERIES (6525)

General protection fault!

History: FCollisionOctree::ActorLineCheck <- ULevel::MultiLineCheck <- ULevel::MultiLineCheck <- ULevel::SingleLineCheck <- UObject::ProcessEvent <- (WargameHUD D0_0700_Exit4.WargameHUD, Function gbxHUD.WargameHUD.PostRender) <- FPlayerSceneNode::Render <- UGameEngine::Draw <- UWindowsViewport::Repaint <- UWindowsClient::Tick <- UGameEngine::Tick <- UGameEngine::Tick <- CMainLoop::RunLoop <- MainLoop

... And the UbiSoft / Gearbox sw sites don't help.

Beware before you part you hard earned!!!!!

To be honest, Basisboy, I didn't think much of the game at all, so it may be a blessing in disguise. Sell it on ebay while it's still popular ;)

Didn't think it was too bad. I just had enough of waiting an age for it to reload each time after getting killed! And my PC isn't slow.

Can we keep the thread ontopic please. :)

Basisboy, have you tried:

1. Game reinstall
2. Latest ATI drivers, and if you already have them a reinstall
