Alexa & Other bits of Spyware
Just scanned using Ad Aware SE Persona Edition and it detected Alexa on my system, i was wondering how else i could protect myself. I have already got spywareblaster and Spybot upto date.
Also it seems to sometimes detect a piece of spyware called Softmat or something similar. |
Re: Alexa & Other bits of Spyware
You could get Spywareguard from the same people as Spywareblaster.
It's just a bit extra protection. Also, with Spybot, have you got the teatimer activated? |
Re: Alexa & Other bits of Spyware

Re: Alexa & Other bits of Spyware
if its not setup up to run at startup then go to options - settings - realtime protection, then tick the 'startup options' box.
