quicktime.....whats your problem?

I tried to download quicktime for XP with itunes, but I already have itnues, I just need the quicktime.

after I downloaded it, it has a file extension of dmg and I cannot open it.

I read that it is an apple extension, so what's the point in putting it up for windows users? Jeez

can anyone help?

Go to http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/win.html and click "download quicktime 6.5" (not the one with itunes after it, unless you want to install itunes).

Just so you know, .DMG is an Apple Disk Image file, so you downloaded the apple version by mistake :)

Media Player Classic, with codecs from Quicktime Alternative, Real Alternative and xvid. should be all you ever need...
