Need to change IP urgently.
 

Hey guys i wonder if you could help. I want to watch a sports event today online which im more than happy to pay for but apparently its for non uk residents only. When i go onto the site it says my ip is detected as me being in the UK. Is there anyway i can fool the site into letting it think im from another country? Any suggestions appreciated. :tu:

Only by using a web proxy, but then the output would be extremely slow

If you use an anonymous proxy based in another country, the server will think you are from that country. These proxies are always overused and thus slow.

If you are lucky you will be able to use it to get past the registration procedure and then it won't bother to check your address again for the actually streaming.

Tried this one and i got further than before but now i get this message :


You browser Mozilla 5.0 is not supported.
Supported browser is MS Internet explorer version 5.0 or higher

Ermmmm well thats saying you must use internet explorer not fire fox or anything...... so i would suggest using internet explorer ;)

I am using internet explorer.Always have done.

You could always try changing the user agent string, this is done in the registry for IE.

Go to Start > Run then type "regedit" and press enter.
Go to this key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Internet Settings
Change "User Agent" to this:
Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Win32)
