New user and damn happy about it :)
Basically this is a suckup, new fanboy post ;)
Just swapped from ADSL, new gaff, new cable, works fantastic so far for me. I get a bare minimum of 450KB down on my line, it's great, customer service were also cool, solved my problems fast, good job all. Only problem so far is that the Webstar Modem sucks lol. I've worked round that so far though. I knew I preferred cable ;) Merrin ps, the installation guys were fantastic, did their job very well. Do I sound insanely happy yet, I am lol (no I don't work for telewest). |

:welcome:
glad that you are happy :) What do you mean when you say the Webstar modem sucks? and how have you worked round it...? |
Re: New user and damn happy about it :)
well technically it probably doesn't, but I would have liked some router functionality off of it, rather than a simple passthrough. I am currently running 2 NICs in my server and connection sharing that way, I'll get a non-adsl router asap, as that won't play ball either.

Re: New user and damn happy about it :)
did you get one of those new black webstars?
|
Re: New user and damn happy about it :)
I would only accept a moto, they got nice small black ones, they have stoped using them cheap nasty ones that fall over (wont sit up straight) as they are problematic.

Re: New user and damn happy about it :)
When I got my BY last November they told me the Motorola is the only one they use. I hope it stays that way, it is a quality product and everyone should use it!
