NTL index.htm
With NTL's help being virtually non existent, this forum has been great in helping me to upload my new website; thanks.
However, having uploaded my new index.htm page into the root directory I just cannot access it when I type in my homepage address; it repeatedly shows an old index.htm page which is rather bizzarre as it is nowhere in my root directory. If I type in my home page address /index.htm it finds my new index page and the site works fine. What am I doing wrong? Why won't my homepage display the new index.htm page directly? Please help, a day of trying to solve this problem is driving me mad!! Thanks, Mark |
Re: NTL index.htm
type in your homepage address and let it find the onld index.htm page.
Now press Ctrl+F5 together, you may just need to refresh your browser's cache. __________________ :welcome: to CF by the way :D __________________ No sign of paulyoung666? That's a first :) |
Re: NTL index.htm
You're a genious.... how stupid do I feel?
Does that mean it was correct all the time, it was just my browser looking at info stored on my PC rather downloading the new page? Many thanks for ending my extremely frustrating day, Mark |
