Problems in Reading area?

Hi,

Is anyone else experiencing problems in the Reading area?

At around 2PM, my connection dropped. Unplugged the modem, waited a few minutes, plugged it back in. Got as far as the part where the Sync light is on and the Ready light flashes slowly. I think the next step is the Ready light flashes quickly and then it stays solidly on.

Anyway, it dropped around 2 and came back around 3:30. Then, it just dropped again for about twenty minutes and has just come back again. In fact, I was just starting to ring NTL when it came back.

There's nothing on the service status page. Anyone else seeing the same thing?

Well I'm in the Dorset area and my modem keeps doing that every few seconds. :(

I live in High Wycombe and also experienced a loss of service (DigTV and Broadband) at 7. We have had a number of similar outages over the last 6 weeks. I phoned CS (again) and the rep told me that this was a planned maintenance outage. When I asked why I hadn't been told about the work in advance the rep said that it was not practical due to the number of affected customers (haven't ntl heard of email etc...)

According to the status pages, there was supposed to be maintenaince work Tuesday morning. I wonder if they're late.

RG6 post code here, no problems, (touch wood) but then again i've had connection problems when a neighbour in same street hasnt had any, so it's not really any indication.

It's here, in a thread all of it's own.

Im just trying to give you assurance that if it is indead an outage, not just a sole problem, then we are aware and investigating
