Home Network and Cap

I have a network set up at home.

A PC downstairs connected directly to a router and a Laptop upstairs connected wirelessly.

When transferring files between the two computers, does the file go out across the internet and then back in again - and therefore count towards my usage.

I only ask as I have been capturing a lot of video recently, I capture to the laptop and then send to the PC to edit. Most of these files are quite sizeable and if they are going between the two computers over the internet then I'm going to be using up my 1gb per day quite quickly.

No, it does not go out to the internet, and is not counted against you allowance.

It only passes through the router, not the Internet.
