NTL phone lines down?
 

Just been trying to get through to support to ask about an upgrade ... 151 gets me the unobtainable tone and Broadband support on 0845 6500 121 and Customer support on 0800 052 2000 both have very scratchy recorded messages asking for my ntl phone number ... and then nothing.

151 has been removed from service, the others I'm not too sure. Can you make calls to other numbers o.k?

customer service are definately working at the moment!

hmm... i'm sure i used 151 from my house the other day... will have to check later. maybe it is not used in certain areas :shrug:

151 does not work in the Luton area (Hertford) - I have to dial the 08000522000 number.

so to get through to what was 151, you now need to use speed dial 08000522000 so you don't waste too much time dialing numbers :p:

and then type in your NTL phone number to make sure the call is routed correctly.

150 not working here. 150 has in worked in the past. Number is now not recognised.

As I said earlier, I get a very scratchy, slooowwwed-dooooowwwwn recorded message or, in the case of the call I just made, zilch but silence.

151 did work and it's still listed on my ntl bill.

I've signed up online to upgrade my speed and I'm noticing a difference. Is it automatic?
