Main NTL email account not working
 

Does anyone know if there is a problem in the Cambridgeshire area with NTL email? My main email address has been out of action since yesterday morning with email to it bouncing back and I cannot access it from outlook or webmail.

I have tried to login from Ntlworld.com to set a forwarding addy, but it says the address doesn't exist, yet it is in the list of addy's when I log into the 'Add extra mail boxes' section. All other addy's are working fine, which is even more frustrating as the faulty one is the most important :mad:

Basically, should I wait it out and see what happens, or contact CS tomorrow

Mine seems to be working ok.

Well, I say "working", Outlook polls it and doesn't report any errors.

I would hang tight until tomorrow and see what happens, if you still get no joy a call to Tech Support may be in order.

Yeah mines broken as well, its only affecting my main account, the others are fine.

I've called CS and because I am the only one who has reported it - it is being treated as a problem with my e-mail account.

I said others have reported it in the forum - but was told that they would have to reported to CS to get any action.

I have the same problem as the first post:

I can access the e-mail to look at forwarding address etc.
But e-mail reading and sending to - is failing.

After three calls going through to India and the problems I was having getting worse with the account getting in a really weird state, I eventually got through to Swansea this morning.

He said "I don't know why they have gone through all that" - and resolved all the problems in seconds.
