Royals and security

why does the taxpayer have to foot the bill for looking after that lot, with the money they grab from us, they should pay for their own, and to add insult to injury, the police chief is sucking up to them with the "we are sorry for what happened" get any crime around here, and they will be along a week next tuesday.

I bet it won't be any police chief head's rolling over this lapse in security, I bet they've had a scapegoat lined up long ago in case something like this happened again.

from what was in the papers this morning I don't think we spent a whole lot on the security this time lol...

poolking, that just about sums it up, as they all run around shouting...

We need a fall guy

They've already got a scapegoat. According to the TV news, some contractor picked him up and took him to a policeman. He (the gatecrasher) managed to talk his way out of it.

There was also another telling comment; the Royals want to have their cake and eat it; namely they want good security but at they same time they don't want their pals being pestered by some oik of a plod.

I don't think thats the point, he shouldn't have got in, in the first place. ;)

No, that's exactly the point! Surely if it's an Africa theme party, to have someone dress up as Osama would be a bit odd no? ... therefore arousing suspicion from the outset... it'd be like going to a James Bond evening dressed as Billy the Kid... DOH! :dozey:

:D

That goes to show that someone didn't know that Osama didn't come from Africa, or they thought it was some eccentric. :D

Hahaha... :D could you imagine not knowing that Osama wasn't African?! :dunce:
I'm sure they were probably too busy watching BB to notice anyone 'suspicious'!! :erm:
