Help needed

Hi guys
thanks for looking in...
I have come to my wits end with ntl,
I have been having ongoing problems with my broadband connection since November 9th last year.
Problem is that from midday/early afternoon my speeds get slower and slower speeds, starting 6am I can download at 360k/s and by early evening it is down to 8 or 10 k/s (reminds of dial up), after countless calls to tech support and customer services I am getting nowhere.
Latest response from tech support is that there is an over "utilized upstream in my area" since november.....just not good enough..
Just spoke to customer services who spoke to tech support himself and they told him that until the problem is at a point where the system will just collapse, they will not do anything about it, so basically I just have to put up with it till it gets sorted, which could be next week or next year who knows ???
thanks for your time
Rob

Re: Help needed

I can sympathise i had this problem for long enough, 5 oclock slowdown as the engineer who came out called it. I spoke to cs in the end and they agreed to refund my account while the problem continued, but i did have to have technical support speak to cs and confirm there was a problem. I know it is not very good but at leat u may try to get a refund on your account till the problem is sorted out. In the end i think i couldnt be sure Tech support transferred me to somewhere less busy, well thats what they said they did and my problem was gone.

Hi Doofy
thanks for your reply...Tech has already comfirmed to customer services there is a fault but have also said it is not going to be fixed until the problem is worse. I am not really after a credit to my account, I just want a working 3mb connection and I think a fault lasting nearly 5 months is not acceptable by any stretch of the imagination..
Can anyone in here help ??
Regards and Thanks
Rob
