Two Connections?

With the recent upgrades it got me thinking. Is it possible to have two different broadband connections in your house under different names, so that me and my son dont have to share the same connection, so we can get two different ones. A new one for him and i keep the existing one.

Cheers

There should be nothing to stop you having 2 connections as long as it means having 2 different accounts.

In my house the BB is in my name, TV and phone is in my mothers name.

Shouldn't be a problem. As long as they are in different names you can have multiple connections per household (signal quality and common sense permitting of course)

By different names does that mean Surnames?
The other solution of course is to have ADSL + NTL. Example here on ADSL - you can have fitted as many phone lines as you see fit under the same name and then fit as man ADSL as you require - something I asked about ages ago. If a person is prepared to pay for it, I dont understand why NTL wont allow more than one per household, even with same name - sounds daft to me personally.

I've seen plenty with different first names only.

we have two 750k lines in my house, under different names. and due to the oddities of the billing system, NTL were convinced we had a third that wasn't being paid for and so kept disconnecting the other two at random...
